Flights are booked! I just booked our flights to California's wine country to spend our 5 year anniversary in April. I'm going to the MySQL Users Conference on Monday, and Julie is joining me on Friday. From there, we'll drive down to the Fog Catcher Inn for a romantic getaway and lots of wine tasting. You guys will love the central coast of Cambria. It is very cool there, very laidback. Great wineries there too! Beats the hassle of Napa Valley traffic and congestion on the weekend. I would say have a great time, but that is a given!

Once you pass Monterey it's a really nice drive, you have the ocean almost all the time on your right side!, a lot of photo spots with nice views, though, it's a little bit crowded over the weekend: bikers, couples on convertibles. Before Cambria, you'll see the Hearst Castle, which has impressive panorama views.
