Panther for $21.39 Thanks to James' Tip I just purchased OS X 10.3 for a mere $21.39 (1.44 in taxes). Thanks to James for the tip and thank you Apple for recognizing my new purchase.

Update: I've heard that some people were unable to do this. I got an error when I first tried it - removing the dash (-) in my serial number fixed the problem. Posted in Mac OS X at Oct 09 2003, 10:54:49 AM MDT 5 Comments

According to MacRumors.com, new PowerBook and G5 owners are eligible for a cheap (19.95) upgrade.

For reason it doesn't work for me. I says it cannot find my serial number. Looks like I will have the fork over $130. :(

I even tried with the dash not in my serial number.
