It actually has a hell of a lot to do with context. It's difficult to understand "Uinervtisy" without a nearby "rsheearch" or other context-aiding words ("Elingsh" probably helps too). Without a fairly instinctive understanding of english grammar, the above is fairly incomprehensable. end nit-picking-geek.
