Kalin's Visit
Kalin blessed us with her precense in Denver last weekend. We all had a great time and really enjoyed spending time with her. She sure is a fun gal - and lookin' good too! She's very excited about being an Aunt, as we are about being parents. This hasn't happened yet, but could any day now. On Sunday, we rode bikes all the way to downtown Denver (1 hour, 25 minutes) to watch the Broncos game with Murphy and Navarro. After watching the game, we hung out, played some video games, and then rode our bikes home (2 hours). The weekend was definitely too short, but still a great time. I just got off the phone with Kalin and she's driving to an Art Show tonight - and she's even entering some of her works! Exciting stuff - I hope you win sis!

Site Enhancements.
I made a few enhancements to this site tonight - mainly because Dad (Joe) sent me an e-mail saying "Need to make that Misoula link real-time." So I added a webcam image of Missoula that's updated every 2 minutes, and also a real-time display/link of Missoula's weather. Also, under Montana, I added a link to realtime photos of Whitefish. At the bottom right, if you have a raible.net e-mail address, you can check your e-mail by clicking on the envelope icon. I hope you like the enhancements pappy!

Here is a picture of Mary, Judy, Matt (me), Barb (Mom) and Joe (Dad) from February 2002. We were all in Arizona for Grandpa Ollie's funeral. We had a great time that week, thinking of Grandpa and how cool he was - as well as enjoying the beatiful weather in Yuma.
The Route.
Here is our tentative route, we'll probably be taking a lot of back roads, but this is what MapQuest gives me for Denver -> Vegas -> Grand Canyon -> Denver.
I had to remove the map image as MapQuest has removed it - darnit!
Raible Road Trip 5
I don't know if it's number 4, 5, or 6 - but we're doing the 2002 Raible Road Trip. Julie and I (Matt) are leaving from Denver on Thursday, September 5th, and driving to Vegas. Then Mom and Dad will be meeting me in Vegas (I'm going to a conference all week) and we're going to "take the long way home" from Las Vegas back to Denver. Should be a great time - let us know if you'd like us to stop by (and you're on the way).
