I'd recommend you copy into the newer version project from your existing webapp. Hopefully, it's just a matter of copying the files you created, as well as any bean definitions you've added to context files.

If this is too difficult, [Matt|MattRaible] is thinking of starting an "upgrade service" where you can send him a project and he'll upgrade it for a fee.
