!!Brief Bio |
I started programming at the age of 15 in 1983 on a TI-99 4A, worked in Assembler, Pascal and C on C64, Amiga, PC. I wrote articles for a couple of German IT Magazines at the age of 18. After 2 years working as an editor for the german Amiga-Magazin in 1989 and 1990 I got bored of computers and became a dance club promoter for 5 years. But the upcoming internet caught me and I founded cyber:con, as an internet solution provider in 1995 together with Oliver Runge. We avoided taking part in the internet boom and are still a small company of 7, mainly focussed on consulting and Java development. Personally I started to work with Java in 1997, J2EE in 1999. |

!!Work |
In my day time I work as a consultant to one of the largest European Mobile Telco companies. When it gets dark, I code for fun. |

!!AppFuse |
I have chosen Appfuse as a base for several projects because it helps to reduce the time to get to speed when you are starting a new project. I value AppFuse's clear architecture and it's excellent build process. The technology stack (in terms of integrated libraries) is superb and well suited to help in almost every day-by-day situation. It attests to the wide experience of it's creator Matt. |
Currently I'm trying to integrate [axis|http://ws.apache.org/axis] for webservices and [openlaszlo|http://www.openlaszlo.org] as an alternative Rich User Interface with AppFuse. |
