Difference between version 9 and version 1:

At line 1 changed 1 line.
I'm the lead developer for [Sum-Ware, Inc.|http://sum-ware.com]. We are a small-ish software firm specializing in software for use in automobile dealerships.
!!Brief Bio
I've been using computers and writing programs for about 2/3rd's of my life. Obviously I started out small with a [Commodore VIC 20|http://www.old-computers.com/museum/computer.asp?c=252] learning BASIC and playing [Scott Adams' adventure games|http://www.msadams.com/]. Eventually I moved on to Pascal, C, C++, Visual Basic, JavaScript and of course Java.
At line 3 changed 1 line.
I'm investigating AppFuse for use in a new project and if all works well we may migrate some existing applications that have need several of the features found in the AppFuse "framework."
!!Work
I currently the ''lone ranger'' developer for [Sum-Ware, Inc.|http://sum-ware.com]. We are a small software firm specializing in software for use in automobile dealerships. Most of my recent work has been Java web applications or stand alone Java GUI programs. The current project is based on AppFuse 1.6.1 using the Struts framework (''because I was already familiar with it''). At some point I hope to migrate our production webapp [DeskKing|http://www.sum-ware.com/about.html] to use AppFuse.
!!AppFuse
While learning AppFuse for my work project, I have tried to make plenty of documentation in the Wiki about any thing at all that I think is at all noteworthy. This in turn has made me understand AppFuse better for my own work as well as make me more equipped to answer questions on the [maillist|https://appfuse.dev.java.net/servlets/SummarizeList?listName=users] and the [IRC channel|AppFuseIRC]. My help in the wiki, maillist and IRC has now lead to me becoming [a committer|http://raibledesigns.com/page/rd?anchor=new_appfuse_developer_nathan_anderson] to the project. So, I guess i'll be around for a while :).
!!Contact
For AppFuse questions, I'd recommend posting directly to the [maillist|https://appfuse.dev.java.net/servlets/SummarizeList?listName=users]. I read that, but more importantly so do many other people. But if you have a need to contact me directly, I can be found on the [IRC channel|AppFuseIRC] (nick: {{melinate}}) almost all the time that I'm on my computer. You can also find me on almost any IM service:
{{{
AIM: mailinate
ICQ: 1136791
MSN: [email protected]
Y!: melinate
}}}
Of course there is always email: {{[email protected]}}
;:''Interesting tidbit: Before becoming a committer for AppFuse, my previous Java claim to fame was being quoted on the back cover of '[Struts in Action|https://secure.manning.com/catalog/view.php?book=husted]'.''
