Awesome Weekend in Tahoe

This weekend in Tahoe was absolutely incredible. I've never skied in a place so beautiful. Not only were the views spectacular, but the weather was terrific. On Sunday, we skied in t-shirts while the thermometer read 58°F. While I love the powder and Colorado snow, there's nothing like Spring Skiing. If you ever get a chance to visit Lake Tahoe, I highly recommend you jump at the opportunity.

Nice place, but the ascent seems pretty low. Try the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dolomites and be ready to enter the next level of skiing :-)

too bad you couldn't spend the weekend huddled up in a tiny shack on a frozen lake ;)

Always need to be wary of any beer you need to add fruit to to give it some flavour... :)

Looks like fun. Matt; I am contemplating going to Steamboat next week with my family. Last minute thing, and I know you love it there. Can you tell me how the snow is??? Is it like the snow they are having at SnowBird? Thanks Peter

I don't think Steamboat got a whole lot of new snow in the last week. However, the forecast looks promising for this weekend. It was around this time last year when I enjoyed 5 feet in 5 days at Steamboat.

After Tahoe, it seems like it's Spring skiing all over the place. Hopefully I'll get dumped on at Whistler in two weeks and have a different feeling.
