False alarm?

Julie just went to the doctor because she's been up all night and feeling some pain. She was in hard labor for 24 hours with Abbie. She definitely doesn't look like she's in labor if compared to her previous one. But you never know. The nice thing is the hospital is only two blocks away.

Update: It was indeed a false alarm. However, the doctor said her cervix was soft and the baby's head is right there. He also said it's probably a sign that labor will start in the next day or two. :-D

Well hopefully it is sooner than later. We had two false alarms, and my wife eventually had to be induced this time around. The last few weeks are the worst, they just want it to be over.

Good luck, Matt! I was in your situation two months ago and I know how you feel.

We had our baby girl, Rebecca Elayne, this past Thursday 8/19. Hope yours goes as smoothly as ours did. Just now getting to reading my backlog of blogs after a 2am feeding. Good luck, and congratulations

That's awesome Mike - congrats!! Julie went from comfortable to miserable just in the last couple of days. I've been thinking any day now for almost a week. If this one is anything like Abbie, it'll come 2 days early (next Wednesday).
