GlassFish Numbers Fudging
Remember when I thought Sun/java.net was trying to make GlassFish look more popular than it is? It looks like they took it up a notch in August. Not only do they have the top spot in "most accesses", but they have the top 2 spots!
Isn't it possible to automate these stats instead of using a spreadsheet?

Concentrate more on appfuse instead of huge flaws in statistics reporting that java.net has? This almost sounds like the white house telling us to concentrate on 9/11 when people ask questions about all of the dying soldiers in Iraq and where these wmds are? Why don't you care about the statistics being correct jeff? ;)
Your analogy with the whitehouse/9-11 and java.net/Appfuse seems a bit extreme, don't you agree? My point was, the most important thing he has is community. As long as his community is strong, statistics, or supposed statistics should not be his concern, and he seems to place heavy weight on it. Success of his project is through his community and the links/hits/articles he has outside of java.net, which he has a lot of, is his best indicator of his project's success. My advice was not to sweat the small stuff. No BS here. ;-)
