Heading to Tucson

We're leaving in a few hours to go to Tucson, AZ for the weekend. We're flying to see my Great Aunt Mary and her friend Judy - and my Mom is going to meet us there as well. Hopefully it'll be a nice relaxing weekend since there will be 3 ladies fawning over Abbie. I'm also meeting up with Rick Hightower since he lives there. The snow is supposed to start in Denver this afternoon - good timing eh?

I've never been to Tucson, but here's a webcam so you can checkout the weather there while I'm gone. Have a great weekend, I'll be back on Monday night.

Hey Matt.. I am going to take my family to Tucson on Thursday to visit my parents (they live in a town called Marana north of Tucson). Any ideas for what to do with kids while we're there? We have a 3 year old boy, and a 15 month old boy. BTW.. I also found out recently that we're expecting another one just like you. Due date: 9/17. What's Julie's Due date? --> John

John,

We just got back tonight and I definitely enjoyed Tucson - a very nice town. It was supposed to rain every day and it was 65-70 every day and only rained for a few hours this morning. We had a blast at the Desert Museum and the nearby Saguaro National Park. It was a bit long for Abbie though (also 15 months). We did an hour or so in the Park and then 2 hours in the museum and she made it about halfway through the museum - but loved every minute of both. You might be better off doing it over two days and not pushing those afternoon naps! ;-)

Julie's due date is September 3rd - congrats on yours!
