OS X: Apps I dig

I'm suspicious that there's more cool apps for OS X out there, so I'll tell you my favorites, and maybe I'll hear about some new ones in the process.

There's more that I didn't feel like listing because I figured most folks know about them - NetNewsWire, Tiger Launch and Clutter to name a few.

I will have to try SmartCVS, but I can't let the opportunity pass to recommend CVL, it's the best CVS client I've used on any platform. http://sente.epfl.ch/software/cvl/

Transmit is nice, but also check out Fugu (which is free too), it's my SFTP client of choice (mostly cuz it does everything I need and is free and good). http://rsug.itd.umich.edu/software/fugu/ Also, if you ever have to measure anything on screen, AquaRuler is just phenomenal. Hands down the best screen ruler app I've seen on any platform. http://www.dotsw.com/aquaruler.html And finally, check out SubEthaEdit. It's a Rendezvous enabled text editor (that has programmer's features, etc.). This is very cool if you have others with Macs and SubEthaEdit. You can collaboratively edit a file. It's a hit at tradeshows, and for pair programming. We use it during meetings sometimes to create a single file of notes. http://www.codingmonkeys.de/
