10+ YEARS

Over 10 years ago, I wrote my first blog post. Since then, I've authored books, had kids, traveled the world, found Trish and blogged about it all.

Fast Company's Fast 50

Via Erik, Six Apart makes Fast Company 50. Personally, I don't give a rat's ass about Six Apart, but I do think it's cool that Chipotle made the list. The first Chipotle is right next to DU on Evans and we currently live a mere 6 blocks away from it. In fact, I was just telling Abbie how good it is when we walked by it this evening.

Yes six apart and MT are so overrated it's annoying. MT is not all that and there are many better blogging platforms (sorry jroller is not there yet).

Chipotle is an evil drug-peddling megopoly! I have a friend who moved out to Denver 8 years ago a normal, sane human being. Four years later he moved back to MN a slobbering maniac, desperately in search of Chipotle. (Un)Luckily for him, just then a Chipotle opened not far from where he worked. Fast forward to now and Chipotles are everywhere, threatening the Starbucks store-per-human ratio!

Yeah, Illegal Pete's is good. I have a buddy that likes them better because they mix it all up - but you can get this done at Chipotle too, you just have to ask for it. Personally, I've been eating Chipotle for so long, I feel I have a relationship with them. When I eat Qdoba or Illegal Petes, I feel like I'm cheating - it just feels dirty. ;-)

Damn I'm getting hungry!

Hey Matt, they just opened one up 2 mins up the road from where I work now, soon to be my previous job. It is still about 10 min from my house, so I can go check it out and see if it is as good as you say. Cool!

FYI - they're owned by McDonald's, if that explains the addictive qualities of their food ;-)
