Hey man, this was fun to see. I used to ride there on occasion when I lived in Boulder. Do you ever ride White Ranch or Bergen Peak, or the stuff above Boulder in the canyons? Church Trail (is that still there?)? Super Mario/Jamestown, Nederland, Sourdough, etc.? Now I live in Northern CA. My neighbor and I ride a lot, here's a few shots of local trails, and then some of the stuff around Tahoe that we love: http://homepage.mac.com/golfman/mtb/PhotoAlbum44.html (check out the Tahoe 2 and Northstar galleries).

We do White Ranch all the time (from the bottom) - a very nice trail. I've never done Bergen Peak or anything else in Boulder, but it sounds fun - I love to find new rides. I do mostly foothills stuff nowadays: Waterton Canyon, Deer Creek Canyon, Mt. Falcon, Red Rocks, The Hogback, Green Mountain, Apex, and White Ranch. I also dig riding in Winter Park - some of the best trails I've ever seen!

Cool pics - maybe I'll have to take my digital camera on a ride this week and snap some shots.

Looks like Winter Park has changed their riding URL to http://www.epicsingletrack.com/.

When I lived there, I used to do all the races at Winter Park. It was hands down my favorite place. And, while I haven't ridden there in a long time (about 9yrs :( I have always said that they had some of the best trails I've ever ridden. Sadly, some of it I know was only open for the races (this was rare, I only remember two races that got to use these special trails, but they were superb). You should definitely check out Sourdough, all the stuff out of Jamestown (Super Mario and the Jamestown loops, etc. - hell, ROckShox even had these trails described on their Mag21 boxes :), etc. Ask about Church Trail (a real short, but fun, well, if it's still there descent in Boulder), and Rowena (another fun descent). Again, haven't ridden these in 9 years, so, they could all be totally different, gone, etc. I'd love to go back and ride Sourdough though, definitely worth the drive...
