Let me know how it works out for you if you are connecting it up to a desktop PC. I have a 15 inch PB and a desktop PC at home which I have considered getting a 23 inch display for but heard that typical PC video card doesn't support the nicest modes (I have a Radeon 9700 Pro). This was with the old 23 inch displays though.

Can't believe this has been approved by the Raible Family Procurement & Necessity Prioritizing Committee... (or was it in your prenuptial?)

Kurt - I will be connecting to a PC, so it'll be interesting to see how my wimpy 64MB video card handles it. Hopefully I won't have to buy a new one.

Jaap - that's the beauty of owning your own business - I'd have paid this money in taxes anyway. I've been drooling over a 23" for a couple years now, so Julie knew I wanted one real bad. There's a reason I love her so much - this is just further proof of how cool she is! ;-)

You must have booked that under "Miscellaneous Construction Expenses".

Wow! Nice. Yes, definitely let us know how it works with PC hardware. I was just going through monitor upgrade this past weekend. Both the Apple 20" and 23" looked awesome. But I was afraid of the video mode issues. I have three Linux boxes and an XP box connected via KVM switch. I ended up with a (cheaper) 21" Samsung - but so far am totally happy, especially when I rotate it 90 degrees and can see like 100 line of code in Eclipse. But the wide Apple monitors look second to none.
